New Pathways Transforms Lives

Here’s how the New Pathways approach can help transform your life

About New Pathways

New Pathways is an integrated approach to personal and relational healing that integrates family systems, somatic experiences and mindset. At its core, it recognizes that lasting change happens when we address both what lives in our lineage and what lives within ourselves.

Through Systemic Family Constellation, we illuminate the hidden dynamics, inherited patterns, and ancestral entanglements that shape our relationships and life paths. Through the Somatic Deep Dive, we meet the personal stories, shadows, and emotional blocks that live inside us — the places where our mission, power and voice can get lost. Together, these modalities create a pathway toward greater clarity, deeper connection, and embodied freedom.

Through a blend of Systemic Family Constellation, Somatic Work and Integration Sessions, this approach helps individuals, couples, and families move forward with greater Awareness, Ease, and Truth. By addressing the root rather than the surface, this work often creates deep, lasting shifts in a fraction of the time traditional approaches can take.

Whether you’re seeking clarity in your relationships, freedom from inherited burdens, or reconnection with your own inner strength, New Pathways offers a grounded and transformative path toward lasting change.

“Where the unseen and unfelt becomes the path forward.”

Systemic Family Constellations

When we honor the story behind the pattern, it no longer has to repeat”

What is Systemic Family Constellation
Systemic Family Constellation is a therapeutic and experiential process that uncovers the hidden dynamics operating within families, relationships and ancestral systems. This method was developed four decades ago by Bert Hellinger, a well-known psychotherapist, experienced in psychoanalysis, Gestalt Therapy and family therapy. This approach explores how unresolved family patterns, loyalties and generational trauma can influence a person's emotional life, relationships and behavior in the present

In a constellation, individuals are guided to externalize and give shape to the invisible forces that influence their emotional patterns, relationships, and choices. Through this process, what’s been entangled or unspoken across generations can finally come into view — and with awareness, new possibilities for healing emerge.

How a Session Works

In a private session, we use tangible representations — such as floor markers or figurines — to map the relational field. This creates a living, embodied picture of the system, allowing you to:

  • See the roots of recurring conflicts, miscommunication, or emotional distance

  • Understand how inherited patterns and past experiences shape the present

  • Experience yourself and the other with greater clarity and compassion

As the constellation unfolds, new perspectives emerge and old patterns begin to soften and release, opening the door to more authentic connection and freedom.

This work is especially powerful in healing relationship patterns of all kinds — between partners, parents and children, siblings, or across generations. Many of the struggles we experience in the present are echoes of unresolved dynamics from the past. When these hidden loyalties and entanglements come to light, understanding deepens, compassion grows and new pathways of connection and peace can emerge — whether in a couple, a family or within oneself. Whether done in private sessions or group settings, Systemic Family Constellation offers a gentle but profound way to transform the patterns that keep love, intimacy, and freedom just out of reach.

Why It’s So Effective

Systemic Family Constellation goes straight to the root—not just the surface.
It reveals the hidden patterns, loyalties and inherited burdens that quietly shape your life.

When what’s been unseen comes to light, things shift fast. You gain clarity. Couples reconnect. Families find flow. This work is direct, powerful and often creates real change in less time than traditional talk therapy, which is often wrapped up in the stories in our head.

It’s not about blame. It’s about truth, movement and freedom.

Somatic Deep Dive

  • What Is Somatic Deep Dive

The 'Somatic Deep Dive' is a powerful, experiential process designed to help individuals face what’s hidden beneath the surface — the physical body sensations, emotions, stories and beliefs that quietly shape how we show up in the world.

This work draws from proven frameworks of guts-based emotional release, shadow exploration, purpose activation, somatic awareness and mindset training. It is informed by decades of leadership work, contemplative practice and tools inspired by great teachers of personal mastery.

  • In a Somatic Deep Dive session, clients are guided to:

    • Meet the deeper layers beneath surface challenges — not just manage symptoms

    • Bring shadow aspects into the light with compassion and courage

    • Reconnect to their mission, purpose, and inner strength

    • Release emotional blocks stored in the body and integrate new clarity

This approach is especially effective for those who feel stuck at a personal or professional crossroads, sense a bigger calling but can’t access it fully

  • or keep repeating emotional and relational patterns that no longer serve them. Where Family Constellation focuses on systemic and ancestral dynamics, Somatic focuses on the inner landscape experience and physical body sensations — unlocking the power to create meaningful change from within.

“Coming home to yourself is the most radical healing of all.”

Who We Are

Ankearath (Ankea) Phem, MS, MA

Aloha-Suosdey-Hallo, I am Ankea.

I am a woman of heart and depth — devoted to helping others rediscover their joy, sensuality and inner freedom.

My journey into healing began nearly a decade ago with my very first family constellation session with Mark Wolynn (International bestselling book; "It Didn't start with you") during a major life transition. That single session opened doors I hadn’t imagined possible: my husband and I were able to shift deep relationship dynamics, build a thriving business, raise our children with more ease and continue our inner work with a new sense of clarity.

What I didn’t realize at the time was how much of my own struggle was rooted in generational trauma. I was born to Cambodian parents who survived the Khmer Rouge genocide — a history of unimaginable loss that left lasting imprints on the generations that followed, including my own.

Transforming this inherited pain into love, wisdom and beauty has become both my personal and professional path.

Over the past four years, I have immersed myself in constellation work — participating in hundreds of constellations and answered a clear inner calling to step into facilitation myself, equipped with the IFSC international certification training for systemic family constellation (http://constellationintensive.com) and recently in-person training with Mark Wolynn.

This work builds on a foundation of two master’s degrees in social development and international work, proficiency in five languages and years of experience consulting across Southeast Asia. For more than fifteen years, I’ve also served in Hawaiʻi as a community mental health practitioner, supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging moments.

Alongside this, I have spent over two decades practicing Vipassana meditation — completing more than 100 days in silent retreats. This somatic, body-based training has profoundly shaped my ability to stay grounded, present and attuned to the subtle movements within constellation work.

Today, I weave together systemic family constellation therapy, meditation and embodiment practices to guide women, men and couples in releasing inherited burdens, awakening feminine power and creating deeper intimacy and belonging.

As a loving wife, proud mother of two extraordinary children and lifelong student of the soul, I walk this path alongside my clients.

Together with my husband Caleb, I help others discover New Pathways — toward freedom, love, and the radiant fullness of life.

Aloha, I am Caleb

I am a man of purpose and presence — devoted to helping others discover their strength, authenticity, and capacity for love. My path began over twenty years ago, when a Tony Robbins weekend opened a door I didn’t know existed: a doorway into healing, self-discovery, and service.

After a childhood filled with both challenges and grit, I spent years building a successful career as a mortgage broker. But when my mother and I set out on a backpacking trip through Southeast Asia, everything shifted. That journey — a quest for reconnection and healing — changed the course of my life.

On the shores of Cambodia, I met my wife, Ankea, and together we began a shared path of love, growth, and deep inner work.

Back in Hawaiʻi, my commitment to personal transformation became a commitment to community. After I completed my MBA in Paris, I co-founded Boys to Men Hawaiʻi and served as its Executive Director, creating mentoring programs that helped boys and fathers develop confidence, compassion and integrity.

Through my involvement with men’s work circles and the Hawaiʻi State Fatherhood Commission, I’ve guided countless individuals in reclaiming their emotional strength and authentic connection to self and others.

My approach is shaped by over two decades of deep inner work — from intensive guts-based emotional training and shadow work to vipassana meditation, including more than 100 days spent in silence.

With a background in education and a master’s degree in business, I bring both heart and strategy to everything I do, blending emotional depth with practical tools for growth.

Most of all, I am a devoted husband and father — raising our two children with love, presence, and joy here in Hawaiʻi.

Together with my wife, I support individuals, couples, and families in uncovering what has been hidden, healing what has been carried for too long, and opening New Pathways toward freedom, purpose, accountability and a life rooted in belonging and love.
